Two starters acquired in the David Price (LHP, TOR) trade have made their Detroit debuts this week. Daniel Norris (LHP, DET) has been a highly regarded prospect for the Blue Jays who has yet to see success at the MLB level. In 37 MLB IP the last two years Norris has a 3.62 ERA (4.96 xERA) with a 6.5 Dom and 1.5 Cmd. He may not be ready to make an impact for a fantasy team this season. In 16 starts for Toronto’s Triple-A team he posted a 4.27 ERA/1.51 WHIP and had a mediocre Cmd of 1.9. However, he is only 22 years old and should be a strong consideration for those in keeper leagues.
Matt Boyd (LHP, DET) (pictured above in a Blue Jays uniform) does not have as high a ceiling as Norris, but may be more ready to contribute...
