Nick Senzel was taking grounders at his old home ballpark getting ready to open a new chapter as the everyday third baseman for the Washington Nationals when he fielded a bad hop. Another fluke accident resulted in a broken thumb. It's an unfortunate turn of events for a guy who was likely hoping a new team would help him finally turn the page on a career that has shown flashes of promise derailed by injuries.
