DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: AL East—Lawrie position switch has trickle-down effect

Toronto Blue Jays

Since Lawrie played 2B throughout his rehabilitation assignment, the team appears committed to giving him an extended look at the position (where he played in the 2009-2010 initial stages of his minor-league career in the Brewers organization). Lawrie should earn 2B eligibility in most leagues, giving his owners additional flexibility with their rosters.
