As you may have noticed, there is no shortage of uncertainty surrounding the playing future of Alex Rodriguez (3B, NYY). According to the New York Daily News, Rodriguez will be handed a 214-game suspension today that would keep him out until the 2015 season. Even if Rodriguez appeals, the commissioner may invoke the "best interests of baseball" clause to keep him off the field while the appeal is pending.
