Earlier this offseason, Tampa Bay agreed to a one-year deal with Amed Rosario, who was coming off of a down season in 2023 in which he was relegated to a weak-side platoon role after being traded from Cleveland to the Dodgers. At the time of the signing, Rosario’s role appeared to be limited to the weak side of a platoon at second base with Brandon Lowe.
