AL Central: Caglianone makes strong impression

In his pro debut in 2024, Jac Caglianone (1B, KC) registered a mediocre .241/.302/.388 line with 2 HR and a 78% ct% across 126 PA at High-A. He only fared slightly better in the Arizona Fall League but still ranked number one on our Kansas City Organization Report back in December.

The 22-year-old got a chance to play with the big club this spring, and though the sample was small, Caglianone made his presence known. In 22 PA he went 9 for 17 with 3 HR, while drawing five free passes and striking out just three times. 

Caglianone has officially been sent to the minors and will likely open the season at Double-A. He will likely play first base most of the time there but should also get outfield reps as he tries to work...
