BHQ take: Ramos was pitching fairly well before suffering a knee injury that sent him to the DL and then to the minors after being activated. Actually on the surface, he had been pitching very well, as he had a 1.91 ERA and a 1.21 WHIP. However, his xERA was 2.5 runs higher and his BPV was a subpar 72. Ramos was pitching mostly in middle relief before getting hurt and that’s likely to be the case going forward.  —Phil Hertz
