Athletics | Sean Doolittle has torn rotator cuff
Oakland Athletics RP Sean Doolittle (shoulder) received a platelet-rich plasma injection in his left shoulder because of a slight rotator cuff tear. There is also considerable inflammation in the area. Doolittle will be re-evaluated at a later date before determining the next step in his recovery, and he is not expected to be ready for spring training, according to the team.  Source: MLB.com - Jane Lee
