Fractured wrist shelves Werth for three-plus months
Looking forward to the return of both Ryan Zimmerman (3B, WAS) from the DL (sore shoulder) and Adam LaRoche (1B, WAS) from a few days off with bruised oblique, the Nationals were crushed Sunday when Jayson Werth (OF, WAS) fractured his left wrist attempting to run down a fly ball. After undergoing surgery on Monday, Werth is expected to miss at least 12 weeks, depending on his recovery, which puts him at a best-case return scenario sometime in August.
