Pettitte rejoins Yankee rotation
Andy Pettitte (LHP, NYY), who has been out of action since June 27 due to a fractured fibula, was supposed to return to the rotation September 18, but the game was rained out. He will simply be pushed back one day, and will still square off against the Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium. Pettitte is expected to be limited to 70 pitches, so he will need to be efficient in order to last long enough to qualify for a win.
