Haren returns to LAA rotation
Dan Haren (RHP, LAA) made his first start since July 3 after being activated Sunday from a DL stint with lower back stiffness. His seven-season streak with 200+ IP is a likely casualty of his DL stint and his struggle to pitch deep into games in 2012. Haren has been lifted without completing six innings in seven of his 17 starts, spanning 104 IP. Four of those seven outings with fewer than six IP occurred in his final six starts before being disabled. He also allowed four or more earned runs in each of his last five appearances before Sunday.
