Feliz out, prognosis uncertain
The Rangers had gone all season without a trip to the disabled list until Monday, when without warning, Neftali Feliz (RHP, TEX) landed there with an ulnar collateral ligament sprain in his right elbow. An MRI didn't reveal structural damage, but Feliz will be kept inactive for the next four weeks. Then he'll begin a program to rebuild his arm strength and rehab assignments, which are projected to extend into mid-July. Even in a best-case scenario, fantasy owners should realize that Feliz' return to his previous rotation form is far from certain.
