Santana to DL with concussion symptoms

After slugger Carlos Santana (C, CLE) absorbed a foul ball to his facemask on Friday, CLE placed him on the seven-day concussion DL following reported post-game dizziness. Santana will be eligible to return to the team next week, but must first pass a series of concussion tests to be cleared for baseball activities.

The prestigious power that Santana displayed the previous two years has gone missing this season (98 PX), which is compounded with a now three-year drop in flyballs (44%, 40%, 37%). He seems to be compensating for his power outage by hitting more line drives (21%), while his batting approach remains elite, with a 16% bb% and 0.79 Eye.
