Reyes, Johnson, Buehrle, Bonifacio, Buck set to join Jays
The Miami Marlins fire sale proved to be one-stop shopping for the Blue Jays, as the two teams agreed on a deal that is one of the biggest in league history.
Headlining the group headed to Toronto is José Reyes (SS, TOR), who is coming off a season in which he put a bit of distance between himself and his persistent health woes, logging 642 ABs over 160 games. Reyes' strong ct% and Eye should ensure that, at a minimum, he continues to be a positive BA force. Reyes' Spd slipped back a bit, but he still had a solid 78% success rate on SB attempts.
Though a managerial change clouds the outlook a bit, it is perhaps worth noting that the Jays in recent years...
