Floyd down again with elbow woes; replacement TBD
After leaving Sunday's game with elbow problems, Gavin Floyd's (RHP, CHW) MRI revealed an elbow strain that will sideline him for at least one start. Initial reports suggest that Floyd is dealing with the same issue that shelved him for two weeks in July. How long he'll be out this time is anyone's guess, but with just five weeks remaining in the season, the situation puts Floyd owners in a real quandary—particularly those who must await a formal DL announcement prior to making a replacement move.
