NEWS: The Red Sox have reportedly come to terms with IF Alex Bregman to a three-year, $120 million contract.

BHQ SPIN: Earlier in their long pursuit of the free agent Bregman, manager Alex Cora stated that he envisioned Bregman as a second baseman. Assuming that’s the plan, Bregman’s arrival dampens the hopes of those who thought top prospect Kristian Campbell might break camp as the team’s starter at the position. The other contenders for the position, like David Hamilton, Vaughn Grissom and Romy González, also take a hit. There is also always the chance the Red Sox reverse course and instead move Rafael Devers off third base either to first base or DH, at which point DH Masataka...
