ROTISSERIE REVISITED: The Over-30 Plan, warmed over

As its name implies, the concept behind the Over-30 Plan is simple: If you draft only players age 30 or over, your roster will be more stable, more predictable and less risky.

While it may seem odd and counterproductive to pretend like such a significant chunk of the eligible draft pool simply does not exist (indeed, most analysts will tell you to draft value where you find it, without checking birth certificates), there is some intuitive appeal as well.
