As a native New Yorker and diehard Mets fan, it was a proud moment having the Mid-Summer Classic held in Queens this year at CitiField. Tom Seaver throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, Matt Harvey on the mound to start the game, David Wright manning the hot corner for what's become his annual rite. Even the Mariano moment, he of the hated crosstown Yankees, was one that brought me back to what's great about being a lifelong baseball fan, fantasy baseball aside.
