KEEPERS: Some speculative calm before the storm

With most fans focused on an intriguing World Series, owners in keeper leagues that remain active during the offseason have plenty of 2016 tea leaves to read and ponder before things rev up in earnest. Many non-postseason clubs have already begun handing managerial pink slips, hiring new GMs, and making under-the-radar waiver claims. But some rumblings regarding their plans and future moves were seen and heard even before October—and it's obvious that at least some organizations have outstanding issues needing some sort of resolution prior to next April.
