KEEPERS: To Keep or Not to Keep—AL hitters 35-and-over

With the 2012 season drawing to a close, most keeper league (KL) owners are already playing for next year (PFNY).  And for some keeper / dynasty league owners, the first order of business is to determine which of their aging veterans might be worth keeping for another season, and which are best moved out for younger, perhaps less established blood.  The off-season dynasty ideal is to construct a roster with as much long-term production/upside and durability as possible.  And even the very best 35-and-over players can't be relied upon for this, which makes a risk assessment critical in determining which of these are the best bets to patch up short-term roster weaknesses.
