Entering 2013, Julio Teheran had come off his worst professional season, and had done nothing in winter ball to signal a turnaround. Yet suddenly in his final three February starts, Teheran looked like a different pitcher, allowing just two hits over 17 IP that included a 15/4 K/BB, and had scouts taking notice. He went on to dominate in spring training, produce a breakout 14-win, 3.20 ERA during the regular 2013 season and has never looked back.
