ALTERNATIVE: 2023 Scoresheet Mock Draft Recap

Each year Brian Jones puts together a Scoresheet mock draft starting in mid-December through mid-January of the following year. I was lucky enough to be added to the roster in 2022-23. The draft is 16 rounds long and the premise is to draft a new BL continuing league with the 13 regular keepers and three prospects per the old standard Scoresheet rules. While that is the premise, there is no restriction on how an owner can draft. There were owners with clear “win now” and “build for the future” strategies. I will discuss my strategy and analysis of the players selected.
