As we look to build our rosters, BABS reminds us about two of her important principles. First, players with similar asset ratings are comparable and interchangeable. Most players are more alike than they are different. Second, the players with the largest gap between cost and skills provide profit potential. When BABS is higher on a player than the market, that is an opportunity. And when the market is higher, it means passing on that player.
With that background, let us examine the BABS ratings for hitters by position. Follow along on the Positional Analysis charts. (Note that BABS ratings may shift slightly all off-season as the composition of the player pool changes.)
