When it comes to the impact of the imbalanced schedule on the 2020 season, some of our perceptions may be on the money; others, not so much.

The health of Aaron Judge is just one of the many mysteries fantasy managers will be trying to unravel as the sprint of the 2020 season approaches. Others include: Mountcastle's role in BAL, Verdugo's health in BOS, bench options in TAM and Pearson's status in TOR.

In a shortened season, young players like Ryan Mountcastle in BAL, Bobby Dalbec in BOS, Randy Arozarena in TAM and Rowdy Tellez in TOR may be bigger factors than they may have otherwise been. Meanwhile, injured players like Aaron Hicks may have a chance to being close to ready by the time Opening Day arrives.

In a shortened season, should you upgrade or downgrade players who frequently get hurt? The answer may be, "It depends."

Whenever the season starts, Giancarlo Stanton should be ready to go, but whether he will be joined by Aaron Judge is less clear. Also: Mancini on the mend in BAL, 2B thoughts and Verdugo's return in BOS, predictable cuts in TAM and a still-muddled "ninth man" in TOR.
