WATCHLIST: Prospects to consider for opportunities

The WatchList column is a quick-hit look at those minor league players that may be on the verge of a call-up, whether it be due to an injury on the big league club or sterling performance. Many of the players covered in the WatchList will not be top-level prospects, but instead players that could hold some short-term value in the right situation. Of course, there are lots of unknowns and variables when it comes to call-ups and the WatchList can be purely speculative.
Nick Castellanos (OF, DET)
It is getting much more difficult for the Tigers to justify keeping the brilliant 21-year-old in the minors. After a scorching June that saw him hit .361/.441/.583 with 5 HR and more walks than strikeouts, Castellanos has raised his season totals...
