(*) MASTER NOTES: Idle thoughts from break week

There are any number of constructive ways to spend your All-Star Break. Heck, over the years at BaseballHQ.com, we have probably written that article multiple times: You can analyze your league standings, determine which of your players are likely to see a change in fortune, engage in some trade discussions, and so on.

This week, I certainly did some of those things. But I also took some time to take an actual break, just as the title of the week suggests we should do. Personally, I've always found that taking my own All-Star Break from the day-to-day grind of my leagues and games does wonders for my approach to the rest of the season.
