At the Tout Wars experts league draft this past March, I noticed an interesting phenomenon. The vast majority of players were purchased at very similar prices to the LABR drafts, which had been held three weeks earlier.
You might think that's an intuitively logical result given that the experts tend to have similar opinions about players. But that's not necessarily so. In our respective works, you'll read highly divergent opinions on players. Yet bidding tended to stall at near identical prices.
This was particularly notable for those players with uncertain values coming into 2013:
