While scouting the Carolina League, it has stood out how even the top prospects and players are still inconsistent from game to game and start to start. In order to make it into professional baseball to start with, a player needs to be at a high baseline level of talent, but a distinguishing factor between which players make it and which ones do not is often consistency.
