With start of the season delayed at least two weeks, and probably longer, our view of current injuries needs to change. Here, we will discuss several currently injured players and how they might (or might not) benefit from the delay.

BaseballHQ's health scores do an admirable job of predicting IL time, but some players are trickier to assess. We'll look at a handful of players (some riskier, some less so) whose health scores aren't giving us the proper measure of their risk.

The Big Hurt is back! We'll look at a bunch of players who have injury questions coming into the 2020 season.
Feb 19 2020 1:04am
Ketel, Wong, Segura, Kimbrel, and Betances join the hurt file. Earlier: Bradley's spasms, C-Mart's breathing, Mookie's toe, and Rizzo's ankle all appear.
Sep 23 2019 12:03am
Rizzo, Bell, Fiers, and LaStella are all in danger of being done. Trout is done, with some risk for 2020. Earlier: Yelich, Ohtani, Hill, Senzel, Camargo. Not much good news for any of them. Earlier: Trout could be back soon, and maybe Bryant, too. Javy Baez is likely done, and Moronta has a steep road to recovery.
Sep 16 2019 12:03am
Hicks could be done. S. Marte and Y. Gurriel could miss some time. Earlier: Marquez, Kimbrel, Pence, Aaron Sanchez, and Severino. Even earlier: Bryant, Eaton and Newman! None are hurt enough to miss a lot of time, but each could be affected the rest of the way.
Sep 9 2019 12:03am
Concerning news about Darvish; G. Polano and Naquin are done, Hiura nearly so. Earlier: Muncy will miss some time, as will Mejia. Ketel is risky in the near term, and an update on Dahl. Good news, but no guarantees for Moustakas. Plus, Peralta, Mondesi, and Pence.
Sep 2 2019 12:03am
Piscotty, A. Sanchez, and J. Ramirez. Plus, Stanton coming back soon. Earlier: Winker should be back soon; Pressly probably not. Archer? Hard to say. Even earlier: How long will Domingo Santana, Mazara, and Correa be out? Plus updates on Sale and Kluber.
Aug 26 2019 12:03am
Some big names on the IL: Votto and Sale could be done; Doolittle and Ender could return, and Vladito is on the edge of an IL trip. Earlier: Taillon and Tatis are done; Kinsler is only *mostly* done. Good news for Riley, plus Ray and Cole. Even earlier: with only two injuries of note—Chavis and Pham—and a minor Hicks update.
Aug 19 2019 12:03am
JaCoby is done, Giles may miss some time, and Soto may be okay. Earlier: Yandy and Riley could be done; Healy is. Price is a big question mark, plus Verdugo, Yelich, and Bruce. Even earlier: Cano is done for the year. Also, Yonny is out for a month, while O'Neill and Kimbrel could be back soon.
