Mike Minor (LHP, ATL) has been on a roll since July 1. His skill split when pitching with the bases empty vs. runners on base suggests there's more growth on the horizon if he can refine his approach while pitching from the stretch.

Jake Arrieta (RHP, BAL) owns a 5.83 ERA and has a tenuous hold on a rotation spot in the BAL rotation. But if you're in a deep league with a reserve list and you're leaving him on the free agent wire, you're making a mistake.

It would be easy to write off Mike Minor (LHP, ATL) given his bad surface stats. But he's closer to emerging than it may appear. All of his problems have come in this situation.
